The non-contact angle sensors AK7401/05 have a resolution of 12-bit and are automotive-qualified. Both detect the angular position of a magnetic field parallel to the IC surface. The devices differ in signal interfaces and maximum rotational speed detection, with the AK7405 detecting speeds up to ≤20,000 rpm.
