Electronic access control systems are solving the limitations of mechanical locks and keys by replacing them with a wide range of credentials. Beside conventional technology as such Number/ PIN code or access badge, biometric features are widely present (Fingerprint) and some gaining higher attention in the European market place (camera, time of flight facial recognition).
